2014 Marquee Games

Memorial Day Game - Monday, May 26 Evansville will host Clinton starting at 1:00 pm. Color guard will be provided by local area Veterans.

Alumni Appreciation Day - On Sunday, June 15, all former Evansville Home Talent players will receive 50 cents off the normal price of drinks (beer, pop, sport drink, water).

Active Military & Veterans Appreciation Night - The Evansville Jays would like to honor our active military personnel and veterans before and during the Thursday, June 19 game at Leota Park. Our distinguished guests will receive 50 cents off the normal price of drinks (beer, pop, sport drink, water). Come early as pre-game events are being planned. The game starts at 7:30 pm.

Swimming and a Baseball Game - On June 29, come swimming at Leota Park pool and receive a free hot dog at the Jays concession stand for each paid daily pass.

Festival Game - The Jays will be playing on Friday, July 4 at Lake Leota Park during the Fourth of July Festival celebration. Color guard will be provided by local area Veterans. This would be a good time to check out the Jays and enjoy the fireworks after the game on the Fourth.

Youth Baseball Night - This has been a popular night with the kids. On Thursday, July 10 young baseball fans are invited to enjoy a night at the Lake Leota ball park by obtaining autographs from your Home Talent players, chase down free foul balls, run the score board, and even play catch or warm up with the Jays.

Dog Night - Thursday, July 24 the Jays are hosting "Bring Your Dog to a Baseball Game Night." Every owner that brings their dog to the game will receive a free dog. We will have treats available for the dogs that come. Please pick up your doggy dodos. The game starts at 7:30 pm. Our concession stand will be open for beer, pop, water, brats, hot dogs and burgers.

Appreciation Day Game - The Jays would like to thank their sponsors, families and fans for supporting the team in 2014. After the Sunday, July 27 game enjoy a free picnic with the team.

2014 Spring Training Schedule:
January-March - practice every Sunday in HS gym starting time 3:00 PM (1 night per week)
April - practice outside when weather permits (1 night per week)
Mid-April - start scrimmage games (1 per weekend & 1 per week)
May - season starts (2-3 nights per week)
