Memorial Day Game - Monday, May 30 Evansville will host
Clinton starting at 1:00 pm. Color guard will be provided by local
area Veterans.
Throwback Thursday - On Thursday, June 9 the Jays will be wearing jerseys from the 70s. The game starts at 7:30 pm.
Active Military & Veterans Appreciation Night - The Evansville Jays would like to honor our active
military personnel and veterans before and during the Thursday,
June 9 game at Leota Park. Our distinguished guests will receive
half priced drinks (beer, pop, sport drink,
water). The game
starts at 7:30 pm.
Alumni Appreciation Day - On Sunday, June 12, all former Evansville Home Talent players will receive
half priced drinks (beer, pop, sport drink,
water). The current Jays team will be wearing jerseys from the 70s. The game
starts at 1:00 pm.
Dog Night - Thursday, June 16 the Jays are hosting "Bring
Your Dog to a Baseball Game Night." Every owner that brings
their dog to the game will receive a free dog. We will have treats
available for the dogs that come. Please pick up your doggy dodos.
The game starts at 7:30 pm.
Festival Game - The Jays will be playing on Monday, July 4 at Lake Leota Park during the Fourth of
July Festival celebration. Color guard will be provided by local
area Veterans. This would be a good time to check out the Jays and
enjoy the fireworks after the game on the Fourth. The game starts at 6:00 pm.
Youth Baseball Night - This has been a popular night with
the kids. On Thursday, July 7 young baseball fans are invited to
enjoy a night at the Lake Leota ball park by obtaining autographs
from your Home Talent players, chase down free foul balls, run the
score board, and even play catch or warm up with the Jays. The game starts at 7:30 pm.
Swimming and a Baseball Game - On July 10, come swimming
at Leota Park pool and receive a free hot dog at the
Jays concession stand for each paid daily pass. The game
starts at 1:00 pm.
Appreciation Day Game - The Jays would like to thank their
sponsors, families and fans for supporting the team in 2016. After
the Sunday, August 7 game enjoy a free picnic with the team. The game
starts at 1:00 pm.
We have concessions available at each of the home game with proceeds
going back to the team. Volunteers are needed to help operate and
manage our concession stand. Please contact us if you can help.
2016 Spring Training Schedule:
January-March - hit in the cage on Mondays at Blue Devil's Challenge (1 night per week)
April - practice outside when weather permits (1 night per week)
Mid-April - start scrimmage games (1 per weekend & 1 per week)
May - season starts (2-3 nights per week)
